Bach and Other Flavors
The Vanderbilt Wind Symphony performs a varied program titled “Bach and Other Flavors” that includes Gustav Holst’s arrangement of J.S. Bach’s Fugue a la Gigue, Michael Daughtery’s Bells for Stowkowski, Percy Grainger’s Blithe Bells, and Frank Ticheli’s Apollo Unleashed. The Brass and Percussion students will perform various mixed large ensembles, including William Byrd’s Earl of Oxford March, Sergei Prokofiev’s Romeo & Juliet and more.
