Nashville artists’ collaboration inspires abundance

Exhibition and performances on April 4 and April 26 raise funds and food for The Store, a nonprofit grocery providing dignified food access for neighbors in need.

A collective of Nashville artists has decided that more might actually be better. The 10 multi-genre artists who make up Together We invite Nashvillians to imagine a world of abundance, in lieu of scarcity, through their exhibition and fundraising event on April 26, 2026, at RADAR615 located at 516 Hagan St., Suite 100, from 3 to 6 p.m.

“To celebrate the abundance present in each of our lives at this point in time is essential to uplifting our community,” says Molly Barth, associate professor of flute at Vanderbilt University Blair School of Music. “We will have abundance if we enable it; abundance of love, caring, compassion and creativity.”

Framed around the tension between scarcity and abundance in food, culture, community, housing, resources and creativity, the exhibition asks what becomes possible when every neighbor gives and lives abundantly in a way that assures everyone has enough.

Barth and other participating artists recently launched a digital archive where visitors can record and read audio testimonies of what abundance means to them: https://www.orgnzdvisuals.com/abundance. In addition to the April 26 exhibition, the collective will offer an April 4 preview show at RADAR615 from 5 to 8 p.m., allowing an early look at the work and an opportunity to support local artists.

The group, which has been gathering for more than a year to contemplate what true collaboration might look like, includes food and beverage artists, musicians, poets and visual artists Molly Barth, LeXander Bryant, Dashon Burton, Keshia Hay, Rod McGaha, Phillip Patti, Kaitlyn Raitz, Ciona Rouse, Minton Sparks and Lain York.

The Store goes beyond traditional food aid by offering a dignified, choice-based shopping experience and broader support for individuals and families facing food insecurity. Monetary contributions and nonperishable food items will be collected at both the April 4 preview and the April 26 event.

Guests may bring these specific items (not expired) for donation to The Store:
