Blair School of Music announces partnership with Chamber Music America

Blair School of Music is now a partner university with Charmber Music America.

Blair School of Music is pleased to announce a new partnership with Chamber Music America, a non-profit organization that supports ensemble music professionals, providing grants, professional development, and networking opportunities.

“We welcome this opportunity to partner with CMA in preparing our students as engaged and innovative chamber musicians of the 21st century,” said Blair School of Music Dean Melissa Rose.

As a designated “CMA Partner School” students, faculty and administration will gain access to CMA’s robust suite of professional development resources, including year-round webinars, mentorship opportunities and a range of career-enhancing programs. Blair students and faculty will also participate in CMA’s 2026 National Conference in Chicago this August, performing as part of a full-day chamber music festival and engaging in master classes and panel discussions with leading voices from across the field.

The collaboration positions the Blair School of Music as a prominent national thought leader in chamber music education, amplifying its commitment to artistic excellence and innovation while providing its students and faculty with meaningful opportunities to help define the future of the field.
