This month, the Blair Brass Quintet joins forces with the faculty brass quintets from Belmont University and Middle Tennessee State University.
The resulting triple quintet ensemble, the Tri Star Brass, will perform at 7:30 p.m. November 17 at Nashville’s Christ Church Cathedral, 900 Broadway. Under the baton of guest conductor Vinay Parameswaran, the ensemvble will perform works by Gabrieli, Simmons, Wagner, Bach, John Williams and more.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $4.50 for students, available through the church’s website or at the door.
