Starlene Chandler joined Vanderbilt University in February 2024 and has provided accounting and financial management support for areas, including the School of Medicine and Auxiliary Services. As the administrative officer at the Blair School of Music, she serves as financial unit manager, overseeing budget planning, financial tracking, procurement, and operational process improvement.
Before joining Vanderbilt, Starlene spent more than 20 years in private accounting, where she developed a strong passion for the profession and built extensive financial expertise. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Western Governors University.
Outside of work, Starlene enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and caring for her pets.
