Blair Hit Songwriters Series hosts Craig King and Friends

Craig King is bringing his wealth of experience and wisdom back to Blair on December 10 as part of the Blair Hit Songwriter Series in An Evening with Craig King and Friends. The class starts at 7 p.m. in Room 2192 at thr Blair School of Music, 2400 Blakemore Ave.

Craig is bringing artist Karmella Daniel, who has a single is with popular rap artist B.o.B.  He’s also bringing local artist Sharon Koltick, the lead singer and bassist for Kink Ador.

Craig was discovered by Ray Charles when he auditioned to play organ in Charles’s band. He went on to be musical director for Will Smith’s largest tour, and has worked as a keyboardist and producer with many of the music industry’s legends, as well as with exceptional up-and-coming talent. He’s also written songs for artists like Ray Charles, Kanye West, Mary J. Blige, and many others. http://craigaking.net/biography

This will be the last night of the Blair Hit Songwriter Series for the semester.  Classes will resume again on January 7. Normally, these events are open only to official registrants, but due to the scope of this class, this event will be free and open to the public!
