Nolan Harvel, Nashville Boychoir member, picked as featured soloist with Nashville Symphony

Nolan HarvelBlair School precollege student Nolan Harvel, a guitar student and member of the Nashville Boychoir, will be one of the featured soloists with the Nashville Symphony May 29-31.

The program is part of the Nashville Symphony Chorus’ 50th anniversary celebrations, and features the chorus on Leonard Bernstein’s Chichister Psalms, Samuel Barber’s Knoxville: Summer of 1915 and Johannes Brahms’ A German Requiem.

Harvel, 13, will be the boy soprano soloist for Chichister Psalms.

Performances are 7 p.m. Thursday, May 29, and 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 30-31. Tickets are $23-$138, available through the Symphony’s website.
