Salute springtime at A Celtic Celebration, April 16

The Blair School is ringing in spring with A Celtic Celebration!

With lots of toe-tapping traditional fiddle music, including the guitar expertise of Canadian Grammy-winning songwriter Gordie Sampson (“Jesus Take the Wheel”), it will be a night to celebrate Scottish, Canadian and Irish culture. The party will continue with Irish band Nosey Flinn (singer Sean McNamara), the Southern Academy of Irish Dance, the 17th Lancers Pipes & Drums and Blair’s Fiddle Frenzy, directed by Crystal Plohman.

A Celtic Celebration takes place at 7 p.m. April 16 in Ingram Hall. The performance is a benefit for the Jerome “Butch” Baldassari Precollege Scholarship Fund and the David Schnauffer Fund at the Blair School. Donations will be accepted at the door but are not required.
