The Blair School of Music is pleased to announce that, effective immediately, we will once again welcome public audiences to attend most concert events in person.
Some selected curricular events will only be open to Vanderbilt students, faculty and staff with a valid Vanderbilt ID. Please read all information about the specific event you wish to attend on the Events page of the Blair website before coming to campus.
Guests without Vanderbilt IDs may attend performances that occur after 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and any time on Saturdays and Sundays. Events that take place before 6 p.m. on weekdays remain restricted to Vanderbilt community members only, as do events that are noted as “private.” In most cases, these events will be available to be viewed remotely via our live-streaming portal.
In accordance with Vanderbilt University requirements and for the protection of our students, staff, faculty and patrons, the following safety protocols will be strictly enforced:
- All audience members must remain masked at all times
- Patrons with a Vanderbilt University ID will check in via card scanner
- Additional social distancing protocols may be in place, at the discretion of the performers
Please note that all concerts will begin promptly at the advertised start time; seating is first come/first served and limited. We therefore encourage our patrons to arrive at Blair early. Doors open 30 minutes prior to curtain.
These policies are subject to change without notice, according to public health guidelines and university policies. For the most current information, please consult our website before coming to campus for an event.
We appreciate your continued patience and understanding as we work toward a safe return to normal operations.
