A cohort of 82 new students has entered the Blair School of Music, representing hometowns and/or residencies in 24 states in the U.S., Hong Kong, Australia, and including the first Blair student from New Zealand. New students will join each of Blair’s studios in classical and jazz studies, including music composition.
“We send a very warm welcome to our new Blair students!” said Director of Admissions Molly Jewell. “It has been such a pleasure to get to know each of these students throughout the admissions process. They are all truly stellar musicians, artists, and academics, and the road ahead is very exciting! We are all delighted to officially welcome them to campus and the Blair and Vanderbilt community.”
