The Patrons Society recognizes donors who make gifts of $2,500 or more annually to the Vanderbilt University Blair School of Music. Learn more about the donor society and our recognition levels.
Types of Gifts
Gifts to Vanderbilt University Blair School of Music may take a number of different forms. To discuss any of these options, please contact the Development office at (615) 322-7650.
Unrestricted Gifts
An unrestricted gift is money that is donated to the school to be used in whatever way best serves the needs of the students, faculty and staff.
Restricted Gifts
While unrestricted gifts afford the school the most flexibility, donations may be made for a specific purpose.
Gifts-in-kind
Physical gifts of musical instruments or other items related to the school's mission.

Volunteer Opportunities
There are many ways you can give back to Vanderbilt University Blair School of Music, and we encourage you to find a volunteer activity that interests you. Please fill out our VOLUNTEER INTEREST FORM to learn more about all of our volunteer opportunities.
A few ways you can volunteer:
- Help organize or host an alumni event in your city
- Mentor a current student
- Help spread the word about upcoming Vanderbilt Blair events
- Assist the Vanderbilt Blair admissions office at an admissions event or during audition weekends
- Share your expertise with current students by participating in a career networking event
- Participate as a Reunion volunteer by encouraging classmates to come back and give back
