Adjunct Artist Teacher of Collaboration
Jeff Burnham is a collaborative pianist, interpretive coach and language enthusiast. He studied classical piano with Ralph Taylor at Mississippi College and earned a degree in piano performance at the University of Mississippi, including formal studies in choral technique (Jerry Jordan), vocal performance, opera and musical theater, as well as French, Italian and German. He was on music staff at the University of Mississippi, Belmont University and Lipscomb University prior to appointment at Blair.
Burnham serves as rehearsal pianist for the Nashville Symphony Chorus and assists with preparation of vocalists for the symphony. Chamber collaborations include Portara, Intersection, Chrysalis and the Nashville Chamber Music Series. He has national and regional musical theater credits and has conducted local productions at Belmont University, Street Theatre Company, Circle Players and others.
Burnham currently serves as Minister of Worship Arts at Crievewood Baptist Church in Nashville.
