Ticketing Info

  • How do I purchase a ticket?

    Please visit https://boxoffice.vanderbilt.edu/ to purchase a ticket.  

  • If the event is free, do I still need a ticket?

    Yes. Due to standard venue capacity restrictions set by the Nashville Fire Department, all guest must be ticketed. 

  • When is the Box Office Open?

    The Blair Box Office is open on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Central Time, as well as one hour prior to each event. Vanderbilt University is a cashless organization, so please plan ahead. 

  • Do you offer discounts?

    Yes! We offer discounts to groups, students, and more. Please contact BlairBoxOffice@vanderbilt.edu for additional information. 

  • What do I receive after I purchase a ticket?

    You will receive an email containing the ticket and a code to access your ticket online. This email should come from noreply@boxoffice.vanderbilt.edu. 

  • Do I need a ticket for my child, even if they’ll be on my lap?

    Yes, all guests, including children sitting on a caregiver’s lap, must have a ticket. This helps us comply with venue capacity regulations set by the Nashville Fire Department.

  • I purchased my tickets from a website that is not affiliated with Vanderbilt. What should I do?

    Tickets purchased from other vendors or third parties may not be authentic. We strongly advise purchasing only from https://boxoffice.vanderbilt.edu/ for verified tickets.

  • Refund Policy

    We do not offer refunds. Exchanges are at the discretion of the Box Office Manager. Tickets that are no longer being used, can be donated or forwarded to another guest. If you have additional questions, please contact BlairBoxOffice@vanderbilt.edu

  • Address & Parking

    Parking: 2400 Children's Way, Nashville, TN 37212 is the address of the Vanderbilt University West Garage.

    This garage directly faces the Blair School of Music.

    Parking is free after 4:30 PM.  

  • When Should I Arrive?
    • Lobby doors open one hour before each performance.

    • Theater doors (house seating) open 30 minutes prior to start time.

    • Late seating is permitted at the discretion of the artist and house manager, and may be delayed to avoid disruption.

  • Attire

    There is no specific dress code. Please wear clothes that make you the most comfortable.

  • Restroom Locations
    • Turner Recital Hall: Restrooms are located to the right of Blair’s main entrance. Each restroom includes one accessible stall.

    • Ingram Hall: Restrooms are in the main lobby, along the hallway of windows. Each restroom includes two accessible stalls.

  • Lost & Found

    To speak to someone about lost items, please call 615-322-7311, Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. 

    If calling after hours, please leave a message with your name, contact information, a full description of the lost item and the theater in which it was lost. Calls are returned within five (5) business days.   

  • In the Unlikely Event of an Emergency

    Emergency exits are located in the main lobbies and inside the theaters of both Ingram Hall and Turner Recital Hall. 

    Event staff are committed to your safety and are trained to address non-life threatening and life-threatening situations

Policies

  • Photography & Video

    To respect our performers and audience members, recording in any format is generally not permitted. Recording guidelines will be shared in the lobby and inside the theater before each performance.

    Members of the press who wish to photograph an event are asked to contact the Blair School’s Director of Marketing in advance at 615-322-7651. We’re unable to accommodate unplanned or day-of photography requests.

  • Smoking, Food, & Drink

    Tobacco use, including e-cigarettes, is not permitted inside the Blair School of Music. Please also refrain from smoking near the main entrance. A designated smoking area is located behind Ingram Hall near 24th Avenue; ushers can assist with directions.

    Food is allowed in lobby areas only, and bottled water is the only beverage permitted in the theaters. Alcohol may be served at select events, but outside alcohol is never allowed on the premises.

  • Prohibited Items

    The following items are not permitted inside the venue:

    • Food and drink

    • Glass items

    • Skateboards and scooters

    • Instrument cases

    • Tripods

    • Professional cameras and video equipment

    • Weapons of any kind (strictly prohibited)

    Additional notes:

    • A designated smoking area is available onsite.

    • All bags are subject to search at the discretion of the house manager.

Accessibility Info

  • Where can I find information about ADA seating?

    We offer ADA seating for all events. All ADA seats will be held to ensure they are not selected by the general public, as permitted through Tennessee event venue laws. This ensures that ADA guests have priority to purchase accessible seating. If you do not see ADA seating online, or have additional needs, please contact BlairBoxOffice@vanderbilt.edu for assistance, and allow three business days for a response. 

  • Parking/Drop Off

    Guests with limited mobility may be dropped off at the sidewalk directly in front of the building. A passthrough street provides access to a ramp leading onto the plaza, which connects to both Ingram Hall and an additional ramp on the right side of Blair’s main building for access to Turner Recital Hall. If you have any concerns, please email BlairBoxOffice@vanderbilt.edu

  • Additional Assistance Needed

    If additional assistance is needed to get from the curb into Turner Recital Hall or Ingram Hall, please call 615-322-7658, three days in advance of your visit to make arrangements.
