Holling Smith-Borne has been the Director of the Anne Potter Wilson Music Library since 2006. Previously, he was the Coordinator of the music library at DePauw University in Greencastle, Ind. (1997-2006), and the Music and Fine Arts Librarian at Butler University in Indianapolis from 1992-97. He holds a B.M. in piano performance from Bowling Green State University, and a M.I.L.S. from the University of Michigan with a specialization in music librarianship.

Smith-Borne is active in the Music Library Association, and he has recently completed a term as Member-At-Large on the Board of Directors and as Chair of the Education Committee. In previous years, he chaired the Social Responsibilities Roundtable and was a member of the Electronic Reference Services Subcommittee. He is also active in the Music OCLC Users Group, where he recently served as the Treasurer and is part of the Southeast Music Library Association chapter. In his spare time, he enjoys working as a freelance accompanist primarily working with vocalists and choirs.
