Jacob Schaub

Music Cataloging Librarian, Music Library

Jake Schaub has served as the Music Cataloging Librarian in the Anne Potter Wilson Music Library since 2009, where he manages metadata for all formats held within the music collection proper as well as music-related special collections within the larger library system. He holds a B.A. in Music and B.M. in Geography from Utah State University and an M.L.I.S. from Kent State University.

Schaub has been active in the Music Library Association in various committee capacities, and has served as Web Editor, Member-at-Large, and Chair within said organization’s Southeast Chapter. Nationally, he has served as Treasurer and currently Chair of the Music OCLC Users Group. He is also heavily active in the NACO-Music Project, and outside of the library sphere is active as a cellist and pianist.
