Kate Linton joined the Anne Potter Wilson Music Library team in December 2023 as the Music Librarian for Instruction and Outreach. Previously, she was the User Experience Librarian at the University of Tennessee Libraries (2022-2023) and the Music Library Supervisor at the George F. DeVine Music Library (UTK) (2019-2022). Mrs. Linton holds a B.M. in voice performance from West Virginia University and a M.M. in voice performance from University of Tennessee Knoxville. Her love for libraries started at UTK during her graduate studies. She began as the graduate assistant for outreach at the DeVine Music Library, worked up to full time staff upon graduation, and shortly after pursued a M.S.I.S. Kate is active in the Music Library Association and the Southeast Music Library Association chapter. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring new repertoire, performing as opportunities arise, and hiking with her family!
