Robert Rich has served as a reference assistant at the Anne Potter Wilson Music Library of Vanderbilt University since April 1999. In addition to providing reference services, he maintains the periodicals, processes the interlibrary loan requests, serves as the administrative assistant, manages the bindery budget, supports collection development, serves as the designated emergency coordinator, orders all supplies, and assists with all acquisition purchases, and provides logistical support for all outreach events.

Robert earned a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance with Highest Honors from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1981. Further, he received a Master of Music in Piano Accompanying and Vocal Coaching from Westminster Choir College in 1988.
